I just came across this interesting and creative video by Lenka Clayton and James Price on Youtube. Which is your favorite? What do you like about it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okOBUp0oaNM
The video demonstrates attitudes across a broad spectrum of cultures, ages, and people. I may be looking into it too much, but I feel it demonstrated a portion of the persons personality and the attitudes varied across the age ranges. I liked the 91 year old woman, she had great attitude. I always enjoy seeing an energetic elderly individual that hasn’t let life throw them to the dogs; which may be why she has lived so long! I also enjoyed the similar attitudes of both the one year old and the 100 year old; each very “c'est la vie” in nature. That could possibly symbolize how we revert back to our younger years as we reach later adulthood. I know I could benefit from a “c'est la vie” outlook on life!
The people in order, it is amazing how different people in different cultures can act either with excitement or just plain ole dullness when speaking their age.
i think that this video is so cool, it shows the condition that different people are, it seemed like some of the people in their 90's were doing better than some of the people in their 70's, its also hard to tell when you actually get to the "old" people because it just all flows and it gradually gets there
Judith, It was really neat to see the different people and how different they were. I am not sure I liked the use of nursing home residents to do the numbers over 70 but then where are you going to find that age people in concentration but in a nursing home.
That video was great I can't stop watching it. It is unreal how people change. I loved age 91, she remminded me of someone I know. She's 91 and still spunky, she may have looked old but her heart is still young. Wonderful video!
My great-grandmother lived to 106 years old, and my grandparents are still in great shape, so when I was younger, and I heard that someone died at say, 90 years old, I always thought they had died young.
I enjoyed watching the video. All of them seem to be happy. The people that are in their 70's to 100 years old seen to have just as much energy as the younger age. I like them all.
I liked this video. I used to be very scared of the fact that people age and soon die. I am changing though. My mom told me that in old age you experience alot and actually have alot of fun. Esther WIlson
I found this video uplifting and funny. I truly liked the lady that was 100 years old. She seemed a little spunky and had a sense of humor which I find amazing considering her age. I would have liked to have heard more from her.
I also enjoyed the others as well. The children definitely enjoyed themselves. What kid doesn't like the drums. As the age progressed, and as each older individual stated their age, they seemed a little more serious. Not that they didn't have any humor...just not showing as much emotion. As the ages hit 70's and 80's they seemed to enjoy it a little more as you would see a smile, hear a laugh and just hear the fun in their voice while expressing themselves.
It was nice to see the different ages. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

I liked the lady that was a 100 because she looked amazing and the fact she was still able to hit a drum.

The 91 year old lady was so cute! I hope I have that much spunk when I'm that age.
